I wrote a children’s book!

Which is a twist I never saw coming, since I’m more of a movie guy, but it sort of connects.

Back in 2009, I stepped off a train in Grand Central and saw a bird soaring through the terminal. I thought - I bet this bird was born in here and has never been outside before.

I held onto that idea for years as the premise for an animated movie… but that’s all it was, an idea.

Then, I had kids who loved to read and decided to turn the story into something I could actually create myself (with the help of the very talented illustrator Pablo Fernandez de Landa).

So after 1.5 years, The Concrete Jungle is officially a tangible story! It’s an adventure about friendship, courage, and finding your purpose.

And who knows… maybe one day it’ll make it to the big screen after all.
